Some projects leave a lasting mark, not just because of the visuals, but because of the collaboration, the story, and the purpose behind it all.
Working with the founder of Baurhaus Studio and now Woven Design House, Katie Rapp has been exactly that kind of experience.
When I first partnered with Katie for Baurhaus Studio, the vision was clear: to create a brand rooted in beauty, warmth, and refined intentionality. The process was full of energy and trust two ingredients that always lead to something special, you can read more about the brand here it's hard to believe that was five years ago.
So when the same founder came to me with the new project Woven Design House. I knew we had the chance to build something that felt like a natural extension of her story, while standing confidently on its own.

Design That Reflects the Brand
Every detail of the Woven Design House branding was chosen with purpose. The loop in the W hints at threads coming together, a subtle nod to the idea of weaving, connecting, and crafting something lasting. The crossover of the D and H in the monogram adds structure and intention, symbolizing how each part of the business supports and elevates the other.
These aren’t just stylistic choices they’re visual metaphors for what WDH is all about: thoughtful design, meaningful connections, and beautiful spaces that bring everything into harmony.

Why I Love This Work
Getting to walk alongside Katie as her vision evolves, from Baurhaus to WDH, is the kind of project I live for. It’s where design moves beyond aesthetics and becomes storytelling. It’s where brand identity is woven from the inside out.
